Baby H - Week 10!

How far along:
10 weeks as of 03/13/2015

How big is baby:
Prune! 1.2" & 0.14oz! This week cartilage and bones are forming in the limbs, arm and leg joints are functioning. Vital organs are starting to function. Fingernails and hair are starting to grow. Baby H is swallowing and kicking even tho I can't feel it!

Weight gain:
+2 total.

Gender:
Not sure! Ramzi, Chinese Gender and HB all suggest girl but we won't know for sure for a little while! I keep referring to the baby as "she" or "baby girl" and I really need to stop that until we know for sure. I don't really care either way, I just want to know. Gut is saying girl tho. Steve has zero feels either way but most of the family is feeling girl. Do you want to field a guess? Click here!

Symptoms:
Well I will say Week 10 has been a vast improvement over Week 9. Every day is a little bit better than the last. I'm down to 3 diclectin a day and considering dropping the morning one just to see how I do (waiting til the weekend in case it backfires). I'm going to have to pop into the walk-in on Tuesday when my doc is there to get some more tho.

I'm going a little crazy not knowing what's going on inside there! I wish my doctor would have done the doppler but she was worried she wouldn't be able to find the HB and didn't want to stress me out. Baby H, I hope you are doing good! I can't wait to see you in two weeks!

Sleep:
Pretty good. Waking up to pee a lot but that's actually normal for me and I'm pretty good at doing it and going right back to sleep.

Food Cravings:
Nothing discernible this week. Just happy to be able to eat a little more without feeling like dirt when I do! I've stopped having gingerale with my diclectin in the AM and it's helping me get to work a little easier. Train is still a pain and I'm not feeling well enough to eat breakfast til 9-10 so I've started keeping food at work for breakfast.

Movement:
Nada.

Belly Button:
In.

Stretch Marks:
I have a ton already from being a bigger gal so I'm sure I'll get some new ones but I haven't noticed any!

What I'm looking forward too:
Our NT scan on April 1!

Pregnancy Moment with Steve:
Steve spent an hour the other night listening to my stomach to see if he could hear the baby moving. I'm pretty sure all he could hear was my indigestion tho. He found my heartbeat and then was sad when realized it was probably mine.

Belly Photo:
Feeling nice and bloated tho!

  1. I'm so excited for you! I stumbled upon your blog after being diagnosed with UU last week. You gave me hope that it's actually possible to get pregnant. Keep sharing every detail! :) Did you get pregnant this cycle naturally?

    1. Hi Leah! It's kind of hard to say if it was "natural" or not but I'll give you a quick run down! I did three letrozole cycles at the end of last year. The last cycle I didn't ovulate or get a period. My RE told me to wait until I got my period before taking any more. After another month of waiting for it I called and they sent me for blood work which showed no ovulation, no pregnancy, nothing. It looked like i had been trying to ovulate but nothing happened. I started progesterone the Monday after those results to end my cycle. By the end of the progesterone I was pregnant so I'm not sure if it was the progesterone or not, but we would have had to have ovulated somewhere between the blood test that Friday and starting the prometrium the following Monday and it was just some sort of cosmic miracle.
