Baby H - 22 Weeks!

How far along: 

22 weeks as of  06/05/2015

How big is baby:

Papaya! (can I just point out that next week is supposedly grapefruit followed by cantaloupe? In what universe are those bigger than a papaya?) 10-12" & 12-20oz <- these stats will be the same for the next couple weeks as she grows. She's sleeping between 12 and 14 hours a day. She loves cuddling kitties and always moves towards them when they are on my stomach.

Weight gain:

+3.5 total

Gender:

Girl! 

Symptoms:

More nausea this week but it's manageable. Only got sick a few times. Allergies are ramping up and Benadryl sucks. Dreading the heat. 

Sleep: 

Pretty good. Not even waking up to pee until Steve gets up for work these days which is nice.

Food Cravings: 

Not a whole lot. I did have a desire for a dipped cone the other day so we went for a walk and got DQ! ps, 4$ for a small dipped cone? REALLY DAIRY QUEEN?

Movement:  

She's moving more and more. I definitely feel her low down so I think she's head up right now and her feet are kicking my pelvis. She favours my left side and the other day I could actually feel her back and head (and tell the difference between them!) She is mostly active in the afternoon and evening (which might translate to a good sleeper later on???)

Belly Button:

Stretch Marks: 

I think I might be getting a few new ones! I'm not going to bother counting them, I already have so many it doesn't even matter lol

What I'm looking forward too:  

Meeting my OB next week! I've been seeing one of the other docs on staff because she was climbing Mount Everest. This will be my first appointment with her!

This week I got all her diapers washed, stuffed and put away! Omg I can't wait to see her in some of these! We did buy mostly gender neutral but I'm glad I ordered a few pink/purple ones too :)

Pregnancy Moment with Steve:

At Sunday dinner we were talking about all the fun things we will be doing with Ellie. My dad is excited to bake cookies with her and play in the backyard, I'm excited for cuddles, my sister is excited to be the cool aunt who gets to know everything we don't and Steve said he's just excited to have a daughter and can't wait to meet her. (ugly cry!) He's started touching my belly randomly and talking about her lots.
