Baby H - Week 19

Baby gave us a little scare at our check up today! They couldn't find her heartbeat with the doppler so they brought out the portable ultrasound and she was grooving away. The doctor thinks it's because she was moving too much but I think the student doctor might have been too apprehensive and gentle with the doppler. I found her within minutes tonight! But it could have been the dancing she was doing earlier too. I won't complain about getting to see her!

How far along: 

19 weeks as of  05/15/2015

How big is baby:

Mango! 6" & 8.5oz. This week she is developing vernix to protect her skin and starting to develop her five senses. Her fists are now able to grab onto things (like her feet!)

Weight gain:

+4 total, weight loss has dropped off and I'm back to where I was before it happened! 

Gender:

It's a girl! I still can't believe it! 

Symptoms:

It's been almost two weeks since the last time I threw up! I've still had some pretty bad nauseous days but overall I think it's getting better (fingers crossed). A little heartburn on and off. I get cramps if I sit up too fast or move the wrong way. Uterus is tender to the touch and not a fan of cats climbing all over it in the middle of the night. 

Sleep: 

Still sleeping pretty good. Not napping much anymore but I think that comes from being home so much and sleeping in every day.

Food Cravings: 

I'd just rather not think about food this week. I miss you, food.

Movement:  

Sometimes I think maybe?

Belly Button: 

In.

Stretch Marks: 

I think I might be getting a few new ones! I'm not going to bother counting them, I already have so many it doesn't even matter lol

What I'm looking forward too:  

Steve starting his new job. Not excited for my final but excited to be done my degree before baby gets here. And setting up the nursery! I have a ton of DIY projects to get on. 

Pregnancy Moment with Steve:

If what I am feeling is baby kicking then Steve got to feel it for the first time this week! AND he got the job he wanted!
