Baby H - Week 18!
Sweet Potato! 5.6" & 6.7oz. Baby is now sucking, hiccuping, swallowing, twisting, rolling, punching and kicking in there. I feel the occasional thump or flutter (for lack of a better term) and I basically wait to see if it's gas or not. If I don't think it's gas I'm calling it baby right now. Hoping it'll be more obvious soon!
Weight gain:
+2.5 total. The weight loss has tapered off for now woo! I read somewhere I should have gained 10 pounds by now so not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, though my doctor said I may not gain very much.
Gender:
We found out this morning! I am going to let you all know tomorrow. We're doing a mini gender reveal with the family tonight and will announce after we tell them! Do you want to field a guess? Click here! (I will be closing the pool once we are ready to announce the gender!
Symptoms:
Still sick (yay!). I've had a bit of a cough this week and if I cough hard or long enough I throw up (double yay!). Some heartburn but it usually clears away after I take my diclectin.
Sleep:
I've started sleeping with the snoogle a little more. It's a catch-22, I sleep on my side with it but I wake up with a sore back and shoulder (and occasionally neck) so it's still only for about half the night. Preferring to be cold at night.
Food Cravings:
I'd just rather not think about food this week. I miss you, food.
Movement:
Sometimes I think maybe?
Belly Button:
In.
Stretch Marks:
I think I might be getting a few new ones! I'm not going to bother counting them, I already have so many it doesn't even matter lol
What I'm looking forward too:
We are almost half way! I've got a thousand countdowns on the go but that is our next big milestone before viability! (
Pregnancy Moment with Steve:
Steve has started laying with his head on my stomach to see if he can "hear" the baby moving around. So far though I think he can just hear my upset stomach trying to digest.
