It's easy to be happy for people when they are pregnant. It's such an exciting time for them and the last few years I have been surrounded by it. I'm okay with that most of the time, I mean I love my friends or they wouldn't be my friends... why wouldn't I be happy for them?
It wears on me some days though, where it's a little bit harder to be happy for people. I cry after baby showers. I cry after pregnancy announcements. I don't want to cry, I want to be happy for everyone, I want to celebrate with them. But I cry, mostly because I'm scared that will never be me.
I know so many people who have struggled and worked so hard for the babies they have and it's humbling to say the least but I can't help but feel sad and jealous and hurt every time I come home and have to face the reality that it's not my turn yet and it may never be.
Oh girl. I SO know how you feel. This was me for over 2 years that we were trying with no success. I was also diagnosed with PCOS. Baby showers were hard. Announcements were harder. It's hard to be happy when you ache inside. Thinking of you and just never lose hope!!! If you have any questions or need to chat I am here.
