Don

Steve's dad passed away last night. 
Don had a brain tumor and was given less than a year to live before we got married four years ago. Everything went into remission and we were blessed with an extra three years on top of his original prognosis. We found out earlier this year that he had a new tumor that wasn't responding to medication and he took a turn for the worse. Last night he passed away in his sleep. 
We are so sad to lose Steve's dad but so glad he isn't suffering any more. Steve was actually able to fly out for a quick visit last weekend and was able to see his dad one last time and we are really glad he did. 

Don was so happy to be able to come to our wedding even though he'd just had his first surgery. We were happy to have him there and so glad for the last three years we have gotten with him.
